Delete Previous E-mails in a thread

Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

Is there a tool out there (or maybe Outlook has it and I don't know about
it) that can delete all previous e-mails in the Inbox and Sent Items EXCEPT
for the most current version? This would really save me a lot of space in
Outlook.

Ex:

I e-mail Bill
Bill replies
I reply
Bill replies
I reply
Bill replies.

So the only e-mail I really need is the last one from Bill as it contains
all the info from all previous e-mails. I can delete my sent items, and all
Bill's e-mails to me except for the last one.
