Outlook 2003

I have 3 sets of personal folders. I think this happened when I restored
Outlook after a reformat. How do I get rid of them? They don't want to
delete. I think this may be screwing up my hot sync with my Blackberry (at
least I hope that's it.

Thanks in advance... Bob

In Outlook, right close and close them. Then close Outlook, browse to them
and delete them.

What do you mean by "right close and close them"?

It did not work for either of my extra Personal Folders. I get the error
message... "Operation failed. Object could not be found".

Hi Boby,

"Why do I get Personal Folder entries in Microsoft Outlook?"
http://www.publicshareware.com/outlo...ix-profile.php

or have a look on this site: "Ghost PST files"
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/ghosts.htm

Maybe it helps.

I have the same problem too! According to the help(which is of no use) it
says to click on the folder you want to delete then from the file menu go to
folder then choose delete folder. BUT THERE ISN'T AN OPTION TO DELETE! MS is
hopeless!
I tried even to reinstall Outlook ..delete all the old pst files in the
Local settings and where the default pst file lives ...AND THOSE NASTY FOLDER
KEEP COMING BACK! Where are they coming from?

I just went to the first site listed and am a little worried about a place
that can't even spell deletion right.

"Freeware Addon to support the delation of duplicate Personal Folders "

Hi Bob,

thank you for your support and sorry for the error.

Till Monday we will update the website with the right translation.

The translation was made from germans (by ourself), but the program works in
all languages. ;-)
