How to delete multiple read messages

Can someone please help me I have 3000 read emails to delete!

What possessed you to keep 3000 e-mails in your IN-BOX ?
Anyway, if they are consecutively lined up ( i.e.. one after the other ),
click the first one, scroll down to the last of the list, press CTRL key and
HOLD, click the last e-mail. All those e-mails will be blue-shaded. Click
Delete.
You probably need at least 1 hour. Have fun !

's Computer Specifications

Go to Edit | Select all or use CTRL-A and then hit the delete button. If
you cannot delete the messages then see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/
