I seem to have royally messed up my outlook. I am using Outlook 2003 and I sync to my iPhone using MobileMe. Well I replaced my work notebook computer restored my .pst file and all was well. Then I enabled the MM sync and somehow 1400 calendars (no, I am not making that up.. I counted them in iCal) were created on my PC, MobileMe webmail site, iPhone and my mac.

I have been able to clean my mac, and MM site and my phone but outlook still has the calendars. The calendars are empty so I can delete the one by one but with 1400 of them it will take forever. I have been googling like mad but I can not find a way to select multiple calendars and delete them. The .pst file I am using has 6 years of emails in it so starting over isn't an attractive thought besides the fact I will lose the calendar events in the one true calendar.

Any help would be appreciated. Outlook has been locking up everytime I click on the calendar now and it is driving me nuts. I do have a backup of the .pst so I am open to any type of experiment.

Thanks for your help..

Depending on what's quicker for you, you could create a new pst-file and
then move your existing items and folders to the newly created pst-file and
then forget about cleaning up the old one.
File-> New-> Data File...

After you've moved all the items and folder you want to keep, you can set
the newly created pst-file as the default via Tools-> Account Settings->
button Next-> dropdown list at the bottom.
Restart Outlook and then disconnect the messed up pst-file via File-> Data
File Management...

Make sure you create a backup of the newly created pst-file in between just
in case there is some residue which could cause this all over again. In that
case, we can take further troubleshooting steps.

You can't select multiple calendars to delete but you can move them (one at
a time) into one calendar folder then delete the one folder. It's still time
consuming (especially with so many) but its faster than deleting each one.

or you could make a new pst and drag everything except the calendars over to
it.

I'd say that selecting it and moving it to another folder and then delete
that root folder would take longer than selecting it and directly deleting
it. Especially when you select it via the mouse and delete and confirm it
via the keyboard.
