My personal macro workbook has several ancient macros that were
converted from Lotus 1-2-3 about 10 years ago. They show up in the
workbook as worksheets with the macro code on them. They are not in
any of the modules shown in Visual Basic Editor and there are no empty
modules. I can delete the worksheet, but the macro name remains in the
list when I want to run a macro. I can click on the name in the list
of macros, but then the Delete button greys out (both when the macro
page still exists and when it has been deleted). Closing Excel and
restarting does not remove them from the list, nor does rebooting. How
do I delete these macros? (Also, if I delete all of those worksheets
with the Lotus macros, will anything happen to my Personal Macro
Workbook with all of its "pages" gone?)

Just a guess...

If you use Insert|Name|Define, do you see the name of the macro there?

If yes, can you delete it?

No, the macro isn't there. In fact, most of the macros aren't there
(but there ARE some that I managed somehow to delete a couple of years
ago, still listed....go figure!)

Maybe you can remove the proprietary information from the workbook, zip it and
send me a private email.

Remove XSPAM from my email address.

While I was fixing it up to send to you, I discovered that if I
DISABLED the macros when I opened the workbook (rather defeats the
purpose of a macro workbook, huh?) then Insert|Name|Define would show
the names I wanted to delete. Oddly enough, it showed ONLY the names I
wanted to delete.

It's all fixed now. Thanks for your help!
