Delete infinite appointments

Somewhere between Outlook and Yahoo, calendars a couple of my recurring appointments have turned into an infinite number of single appointments. Since they are individual appointments I have to delete them one-at-a-time, but the list never ends.

Furthermore, everytime I try to delete one I'm prompted to send a response to the organizer (which is me). This make deleting a group of appointments into a process of clicking through each one of them - saying that I don't want to send a response.

How can I delete these?

Try displaying the calendar in a table view.

Table view lets me see them - however I still have to confirm that I don't want to reply to the organizer for each item. (I'm the organizer!)
