Using Windows XP, I would like to wipe out the C drive
and reload windows XP..

Backup all of YOUR files elsewhere - another computer/CD preferably.
Set your computer BIOS to boot from CD.
Put in your original Windows XP CD..
When you reboot/power on your computer, look for the words "Press any key to
Boot from CD.." and do it..
Follow the installation, delete the old partition and then create it again
when asked what partition you want to install on.
