try this to disable the functions.
----------------------------
Might need your Windows XP setup CD-ROM when doing this.
----------------------------------------
Follow this path:
Start button
1. Control Panel
2. Add or Remove Programs
3. Add/Remove Windows Components (left column button)
4. [x] Accessories and Utilities (highlight & Click
[Details] button)
5. [x] Games (highlight & Click [Details] button)
6. Make desired changes ([x] = Add or [_] = Delete)
7. Click [OK] (out of Games window)
8. Click [OK] (out of Accessories window)
9. Click [NEXT ->] (Windows Components Wizard opens)
10. Configuring Components appears
11. Components Wizard window
12. Click [Finish] button
-----------------------
Post back and let us know if this works...
