There is a quicker solution with any printer, cancel the job in the queue and then power cycle the print this will clear the job. with XP or Vista, that works...sometimes.
But with anything from the HP C550, Lexmark Z26, Canon 1246 MFC to the HP4100, sometimes the job sticks in the queue until I reboot.
