Hi there,

I want to clean my MS Outlook mailbox - MS Exchange Server type. I did
clean all items, now when I wan to remove the mailbox, it says that you
cannot remove the account as there are some items in it. I know I have .pst
file. Can I locate .pst folder and simply press Del to delete it or not...?

Regards,

Fuad

Which version of Outlook are you using and which method of deleting the
account are you using?
The proper method to remove an account is to do it via Tools-> Account
Settings
Here you can also change the default delivery location to your pst-file
instead of the Exchange mailbox.

Thanks for reply. I am using MS Outlook 2003 and I try to remove the account
completely like below:

Tool > E-mail Accounts > View or exchange existing e-mail accounts > Remove

Regards,

Fuad

p.s. I visited your web site for Outlook, but if I can get an e-mail
address, I can get you the Screen Print for an error message for your
