delete content.ie5 windows me

My c drive on my laptop is cluttered with numerous old content.ie5
folders in windows/temporary internet. Disk data reflects all of these
folders but when I open the temporary internet folder they are hidden.
I am running windows me. How can I delete these useless folders?
