Hi,
In Privacy option, under the Contacts list, some contacts are deletable
while others are not. I understand that those undeletable contacts still
have my hotmail ID in their Contact list and they have to delete me first
before I can delete them. The question is: What gives them the priority over
me? I mean, why it is they have to do it first, why not me first?
Thanks
Yba

Greetings,

Because the idea is that you are managing -your- online status on their list. Even though
you've deleted them from your own contact list, you are still on theirs. So the real
question would be, why gives you priority to remove yourself from their list?

There's arguments on both sides and over the years many probable solutions have been
suggested, including by myself. However, this is the design and there are no plans to change
it.

Thanks for attending my question.
Can you please elaborate, I really do not get your point here.
Thanks
