Delete Attachments from Folder

When I delete messages from my inbox, any attachments from those messages
remain in the temporary files folder. Is there a way to configure Outlook
2003 to automatically delete the attachments from the folder when the message
is deleted? Or is there a way in file manager to know which files are no
longer attached to a message?

The secure temp folder is a temp storage so none of the messages in that
folder should be considered "attached" to any message. Outlook will write
the attachment to the folder each time you open it. Those files are really
only useful if you make changes and didn't save the file in My docs or
update the attachment on the message.

to have outlook automatically delete the messages in that folder you need to
open the attachments in a manner that will not leave them in the folder
after you close them. See
