I have both 98 SE and 2000 NT on my hard drive. After purchasing Windows XP
upgrade I tried to install it but it would not install because of the two
different windows programs. There is no information contained in 2000 NT.
Everything I have is in the 98 SE. I want to delete the 2000 NT so that I can
upgrade the 98 SE to XP.

Your best bet is to do this:
- Back up all your data files to an independent medium.
- Boot the machine with your WinXP CD.
- Allow the disk to be repartitioned and formatted.
- Install WinXP

Upgrading from Win98 will result in a far less stable
installation. Not recommended!
