Delegate sent items folder

I have been assigned as a delegate for a personin my office. We use Outlook
2003. When I send messages for this other person, they do not end up in his
sent items folder. I have verified that "place a copy of sent items" is
selected on my computer.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
