Hi,

You can either install ADCU on the delegated administrators machine, with
the option to create a TaskPad view for the specific task the delegated
administrator should do. Or you could develop your own tool for the required
tasks, and use ADSI for your directory access.

Hiya

Been reading about delegating control to OU's to certain users / groups.
Say for example I gave control of an OU to a specific group. How do these
users actually carry out the control they have been given? Do they have to
log into the server locally, or do they do it from the workstations? If the
workstation, do they need AD Users and Computers installed on their
win2K workstations.?

really don't know if that makes for you .....hope so
