Ever since I upgraded my Symantec Norton Anti-Virus program I have
experencing & noticing slowness & 3-5 second delyness just when working in
Outlook A friend of mine suggested for me to do the following: got to Tools,
Options, Other, Advanced Options, Ad-In Manager & check off anything that has
to do with Symantec. Here's the problem, I have MS Office Pro 2007, but I
don't have the "Ad-in Manager" feature. I looked & looked but cannot find
it. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Uninstall Norton, use the tool available on Norton site to completely
remove. Reboot the PC and retest Outlook
If ok reinstall Norton *without* mail/outlook intergration

it's better to uninstall norton and reinstall without email integration (use
the custom install option) but you can try disabling it in outlook - in
2007, its tools, trust center, addins.
