It is baffling that the help function of outlook does not recover any
information on how to delay the send date of an email in response to any of
the following queries:
delay send
send date
later email
delay email
set email date
etc.

Oh, we are supposed to GUESS at which version Outlook that you use.

That would be "cover", not "recover".

That worked in OL2003.

Yep, that one worked, too, in OL2003.

And even that crappy search string worked in OL2003.

Try updating to a more current version of Outlook.

In Outlook 2007, you will find answers by searching help for "Delay sending email".
