This problem is a mystery that noone can explain. Is
there anybody out there that can help. Please??

Every time I try and save microsoft docs (office, works)
to my USB pen on my home PC I get 'delayed write fault'.

Other facts:
I can open word docs up from pen, just not save to it.
I can save other files to pen fine (txt, adobe etc)
I'm running on XP and using Office 2003.
Have tried all USB ports
Pen works fine on other PC's
PC is under warranty and has been checked, hardware is OK.
Have treid sitching antivirus off
Have got all XP and office updates
After an attempt is made to save a word doc, I am then
subsequently unable to safely remove the device. When an
attempt is made (by clicking icon in system tray), I get
a message saying that "the device cannot be stopped right
now, try stopping later".
