XP2 - all latest patches installed
Was using flash drive and probably yanked it too early, when I got
'spurious' message about we cannot stop the drive right now.. try again
later...

Well I have no lost files that I know of and getting this message as
described in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330174/en-us
Other articles reviewed are
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870894/en-us
-- not using RAID
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321733/en-us
-- not a network drive
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842520/en-us
-- not using TI controller
-- old - fix already installed regedit shows value set correctly.

SO --
Now I have this message that pops up for the last week about 10-20 times per
day.
QUESTION:
How can I get rid of this annoyance?

details...
e-machines T3958 512 MB RAM / 80GB HD / multicard reader / DVD RW

Any suggestions to rid me of this annoying message would be appreciated!!
Thanks, Dave
