Delayed Write Data Error

I have a file server running 2000 Pro. When I try to do an
NTBackup I get the following error:

Delayed Write Failed
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file

It also does the same thing with different files and make
the file unopenable. It doesn't do it with ever file just
every once in a while. When the error comes up you can try
to save it again and it save ok. I have tried all of the
Knowledge Base articles. Any other ideas?
