Can I program off a calendar to send messages by date automatically?
For example, set a date link to e-mail a person the file for updating?

You can use task scheduler, but it works best with older versions of outlook
(due to security).
See http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/recurringmail.asp for more information
and links to utilities that can do it.
