Delayed punctuation

Dear All,

I'm struggling at the moment with a new PC running win XP pro. When I
type a punctuation symbol, particularly an apostrophe (as in Steve's),
it does not display the ' until after I type the next character. This
is really bugging me. How do I deal with that?

Thanks,

T.

Hi T.,

If you type the apostrophe followed by e, do you get é (e-acute)? If so,
you might have the US International keyboard set instead of the standard
US one. Check in Control Panel > Regional and Language Options >
Languages > Details.

Let us know how you get on :-)
