I use Outlook 2003, and have done so for several years. Just within the last
couple of months, when selcecting a new e-mail message to view, there is
quite a delay in opening up that newly selected e-mail. This is a new
problem and I'm not sure what is causing this delay?

What anti-virus software are you using? How large is your PST file?
