Problem: Lengthy delay to get the print menu.
Background: I recently upgraded to Office 2007 and am running XP SP3
Professional. I have a HP NC4010 Laptop.

I now find that it takes minutes for me to be able to print to my HP 1012
from Outlook. If I print from other Office products such as Word, Excel etc.
then print is immediate.
Also recently used a printer at another (HP PSC-4580) location and installed
the software for it. I have now removed the software using the software
removal tool and all went well.

Rename or delete outcmd.dat and outlprnt files.
