Can restore files be defragmented with either Norton or
the Windows defrag tool ? When I run an analysis on my
drive C it shows that I have a 71% defrag value and all
of them are restore files. Can these be reassembled ?

John,

The built-in defragmenter has problems defragmenting Restore files. If you
boot into Safe Mode and defrag from there, it can many times to a better
job. I'm not sure about Norton's SpeedDisk.
