      3rd May 2008
Will logging off and logging back on Windows XP (SP2/HomeEd) free up,
clear and defrag all the RAM that isn't being used by the OS? Or does
that require a full reboot? Just wondering.

Free up - yes.
Defrag - RAM does not need defragging.

What is the supposed purpose or reason to "defrag all the RAM", that you
ask about?
