I just began editing digital movie fragments taken with a SONY
Cybershot. Initial results were great. Transferred fragments to a CD
and played via our DVD player and TV set, etc. Then began to assemble
fragments into an edited whole, about 30 min worth. Got message that I
had a defrag problem and should run chkdsk. Did so, and operating
system crapped. No possible re-boot. Computer now in shop. Any
similar experiences?
