I go to defrag analyze say's need to defrag I hit defrag works fine untill
between 6% and 15% completed then goes straight to complete message. Hit
analyze again same story defrag again same thing. This happened one time
before and someone out to fix but couldn't figure it out ended up reformating
disc. I really don't wantto do that again any ideas?

Check your hard disk for physical errors and/or file systems errors. Defrag
will terminate on either.
