"define send/receive"

I have lost "define send/receive groups". When I click on "Send/Receive" I
do not get any indication on the taskbar as before. When I try to "define
S/R groups" nothing appears (my wife is out of town and I wanted to disable
the receive function for only her account so she could check it remotely).

Also, I can not email photos from a file using the task pane "email this
file" prompt. When I select a photo and try to email it, the "Make my
pictures smaller" dialog box opens, but when I click on that option, I get an
error msg saying "the operation failed".

Both functions (email photos and send/receive) failed today for the first
time.

I reinstalled Office 2003 using the "repair" function, nothing changed.

Also tried to rename the ".srs" file to ".old" (per earlier post) but tried
to open the original file in error with Word, now I don't know what SHOULD be
used to open it. Renaming does not work with Word.
