Dear All, I have serveral computers running Vista Ultimate 64bit OS with
Defender 64 bit version installed; issues are on auto updating; ampx 3-days
between updates. No WSUS or SMS is installed nor will be, expect auto update
to work as expected. McAfee TOPS-Residential ver is installed, FW is open, no
Proxy.
Question; where do I go to perform the following and or adjust regestry.
1. adjust updating to be performed twice in a 24-hr period/day and on startup
2. Vailidate and show update log has perfromed correrctly.
3. Errors observed:
- Auto update appears to work but only after three days
- Selecting "Check for updates does not work
Note: Manual updates do work.
Any help will be appreceated and I thank you all in advance for your
assistance.
