If you are getting looping updates--you have a different issue.
I'd apply the fix that the previous poster noted--the line with msiexec in
it--read that KB article.
Once you've done that, either do Help, about--check for updates, or
WindowsUpdate or both. See if you can get the UI at the bottom of the main
page to read .16 at the end.--you may need to exit and reenter after an
update to see this change.
