defender taking over

Recently defender showed some things it foind and all the spaces like name
alert level all of it said unknow, and then under action taken it says allow.
I was amazed with something that is unknow or how dangerous it maybe
defender decided on its own to allow it and i see no opts to click to delete
them ,i checked my opts and its unchanged as i left it high alert remove low
alert leave and med quarn, any help

The options you are talking about pertain to scans. The stuff you are seeing
in History that was Permitted are the result of real-time protection. If you
want to make the decision, then click Tools->Options->Real-time Protection
Options and check the box for Software that has not yet been classified for
risks (under Choose if Windows Defender should notify you about). Save your
change.

Ty for the reply but if it has no info on what it found and what it is or
even what the alert is how am i to know what to do. It found something but
has completely no info on it. Im scared id delete something important, im not
very computer smart and new to them just so you know where im coming from. Is
it normal for defender to find something and give no info on it all along the
line it says unknow unknown ,m

I'm well aware that WD may not provide enough information to make an educated
decision, but at least when you check the box you are "given" the opportunity
to make a decision.
