What does running chkdsk have to do with Defender not being smart enough to
realize it ran the scan IT created the schedule to run??
Have done an uninstall and reinstall many times. Did a repair install also -
still no help, Defender still thinks the last time it ran a scan (notice, I
didn't say Scheduled Scan, because it was a manual scan (to shut up the
complaint that a scan hadn't been run in 3 days!) it seems it only
recognizes a scan if it is manually kicked off - not scheduled) was on
12/18, and the scheduled tasks AND the log both show a scheduled scan ran
1:37AM on 12/21!!!
