Why does windows defender keep telling me that I have not scanned my computer
for X amount of days. I have it set to scan at 7.00 am every day. It does
this scan but I still get the message. It adds an extra day every 24 hours:
eg yesterday it says I have not scanned my computer for 10 days, today it
says 11 days and tomorow it will say 12 days.

Hello macca,

Just out of interest. Are you using Ccleaner or any other registry cleaner?

Hi Engel

Yes I do Have C Cleaner and a couple of other registry cleaners that I use
from time to time (Eusing registry cleaner, Reg Seeker) C Cleaner runs at
start up and I use the others about once a week.

Hi macca,

Using Ccleaner If you have cleanup checked for Windows Defender in the
Utilities category? If so, try unchecking it and then running a scan. Having
this checked removes the history of when the last scan was run.

For the benefit of the community reading this post, please rate the pºst.

I hope this post is helpful.

Let us know how it works ºut.
