i am using defender anf after all i am satified with it .
1. Never had update problems...i dont now why not...many people have...i not
2. Never found a spyware with it , also not with my ad-aware and spybot
(only cookies , not very harmfull ) so i think i'am oke for that part
3. Only problem is the already discribed interaction between the real-time
protection (msmpeng ) console and symantec norton 2006 symantec resource
protector , but microsoft is investigating this problem ( i hope )
i solved that for the moment by disabeling the the symantec resource
protector , you can also solve it by disabeling the real-time protection from
defender , thats something you have to choose...
4. also the minor problem with the system restore points keeps going on
1. after starting up my computer
2.after update from defender
3.after quick scan.
I hope i can use them both back together soon
but after all for me its not a bad program for a beta 2
