I have an application that performs file and folder encryption. This
application has a UI that displays a Browser control that lists the encrypted
files and folders. When a user double clicks on a file with a registered
file extension, the application passes that through to the browser control so
that it can start the registered application and open the file. When
Defender is installed the registered application does not start and the
encryption application UI is hung.
This problem exists with Defender (Beta 2). If real time protection is off
and the Application Execution security agent is not enabled then everything
works fine.
I would like to work with you to find the problem and help get it resolved.
