I installed Defender in my W2K Pro machine and the installation went fine
but if I if try to run the program it gives an error message of 0x800106ba.

I turned the service on manually, it comes on and then turns back off and
gives this error:
The Windows Defender Service terminated with the following error: 2147550931.
All the dependencies are running.

I have the same problem on win2k sp4. But even the instalation has failed. I
forced it isnstall somehow and now when I want to run it I get the error
message you decribed...
When trying to run service manualy I receive "Could not start the Windows
Defender Service service on Local Computer. Error 2147942402: The system
cannot find the file specified."
