I download the Defender, install it and make a full scan. Everything looks
fine. However, when I reboot the machine, the Defender is gone. It is not in
system anymore. I donwload and re-install it again. Same thing happens after
reboot.

Any idea?

If this is literally true--i.e. you look in start, all programs, or in
control panel, add or remove programs, then you have installed some form of
go-back or protective software which is removing the install.

I believe we've seen this a couple of thimes before, but I can't recall just
what the software was--think about other security software on your system,
too.
