Defender blocks Backup

Hi,
I installed the defenders newest version, but it blocks the task of the XP
backup programm. I tried to activate the backup task with and without
password, I deinstalled the defender and installed it again but have still
the same problem.
Would be nice if anybody could help me. Thanks--
