Hi Efrain. I would have replied sooner but I just found out AOL is blocking
emails to me from Microsoft. PITA!!! I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet
about WLOC and Defender. For now, I'll try continue testing this beta WLOC
1.5 and see what develops. It's obviously a "work in progress" and I think
we both know now that there is no such thing as a "final" version of
anything. In the past, I had some problems using Defender and WLOC 1.1 -
twice on 2 different installations of WIndows I had my "turn off computer"
link disappear from my Welcome Screen. That only occurred while I was using
WLOC and Defender. I never did find out the cause, and I'm curious to see
what happens using this WLOC 1.5. I could always switch back to KIS 6.0, but
it's a PITA to configure and is not compatible with Defender. If things go
badly, maybe it's time for me to try AVG. I'll let you know if anything
drastic happens.
