Defender and Updates

's Computer Specifications

I went to the update site. It said I needed to download the Genuine
Advatntage Tool. I tried but it would not install. I saw others had had
problems with it and didn't see much resolved on this issue. I know I don't
have viruses etc. I have adware, spyware etc. I am not very experienced and
probably need lots of simple explanations. Sorry,just how it is with me.
