Outlook 2000
Can the default appointment reminder be set to checked (on) rather
than off?

Can the default snooze time be changed from 5 min to something else?

1. Yes = Calendar options.
2. No

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, livetohike asked:

The default reminder check box was already checked (on). I cyled it a
few times to no avainl. New appointments still come up w/ the
reminder defaulting to off. Interestingly, changing the reminder time
is reflected in new appointments. There must be one more step (or
corrupted install?)

Figured it out: If you start a new appointment by double-clicking on
the calender, the appt defaults to "all-day", but if you start it from
the toolbar or File/New it defaults to a regular appt i.e. NOT all-day.
