Hi

I'm trying to set a value for the area code of a telephone number. The
format looks like this: !"(513) "000\-0000;0;_

When I bring up the form now, I cannot type over the 513. How can I get
this to default to this value, but still allow other area codes to be
entered when needed?

Thanks

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

See if this works for you:

Input mask: \(000") "000\-0000;0;_
Default value: 513

Note: Removing the exclaimation mark from the beginning of the input mask
causes the default value to fill from left to right.
