I find that when rendering a video for one's computer
there is no option to direct the output to an external
drive. The "save movie file" indicates that my film will
consume 28GB. My drive has 29GB free. Is there a way to
direct the movie file to a USB drive? Assistance would be
appreciated.

I have an external USB one on this computer.... I just tried it and found
the drive listed and I'm rendering a test movie to it right now as I
respond.

No issues using it here.... and it's a USB 1 drive, and older slow speed
one.
