Default setting OL2007 Contacts

Ok, this might be a stupid question. But it is something that is
important to me.

When editing a contact, how can I make the HOME address be the default
"mailing address" (and the one that is shown)?

Simply populate it and tick the option that it is the default.

That only works for THAT contact. I want the home address to be the
default mailing address for ALL contacts - including the 500+ that are
already there.

Well you left out that bit in your question.
Without VBA I don't think there is an easy way to automate this via the user
interface.
