i am currently trying to work out how to change the
default save location in frontpage xp, i work in a school
and the C: is blocked out through group policy, however
now when a student tries to save his work in frontpage it
comes up with an error because the default cannot be
accessed, is there anyway of changing this?

Then you will need to talk with the server admin, and have them create data folder on the server for
each user.

FP need at a minimum:

1. A folder for the web content, which can be on any drive
2. Access to C:\Documents and Settings\<logged in user id>\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server
Extensions\Cache
3. Access to the C:\WINDOWS\Temp\FrontPage Temp folder

The System Admin should be able to create a policy to handle the above location on the server, etc.
