Right click on the file (ex. myexcel.1) > choose properties > on properties
box General tab > the file name appears on the top box. Type of File: 1 File
> Opens with: (Adobe Icon) Adobe Reader > click the Change button > Click
Excel from the list of Programs. Then the icon will change.
