We are using Windows 2000 Advanced Server to provide
terminal services to clients. Occasionally when clients
start a session the default printer on the server will
change to the printer created by the session. This causes
considerable misdirection of printed documents. Does
anyone have any ideas. This problem only occurs on one of
our terminal servers. The others are fine. The server is
part of a workgroup. It is not on our domain.

Check the Terminal sevices configuration>connections\RDP-TCP properties and
under RDP-TCP properies there is a Tab called Client Settings, there is
check box that references "windows printer mapping" this might help you in
your quest
