default printer changes with every program

Is there any way other than going to "Settings" and changing the default
printer, every time I boot up, to keep my default printer where I set it? I
am on Fed Ex, and a couple other programs. Thanks.

You can script it. See "SetDefaultPrinter" method in this link:
